Cupcake frosting help?

I only have 3/4 cups of powdered sugar for frosting yet the recipe calls for 1 1/4 cup! What can I do? Can I just use the 3/4 cup or anything I can add into it to replace like regular sugar? I’m not able to make my own powdered sugar.

Also how do I measure out 1 1/4 stick of butter? I don’t have stick butter....
