Who’s in the wrong?

We are at dinner and my phone buzzed, it was my friends texting me. And my moms like “you tell that boy” and then she changes and says “she was on the phone with him for over 600 hours in one week” and I got pissed and started raising my voice and said “seriously? I get to call him 2 maybe 3 times a week, sometimes only 1” she called it inappropriate, mind you I’m 5 months away from being 18. We called more last week cuz it was Christmas week, and he called me instead of texting me on gmail so that he could actually talk to me. Now she does pay for my phone, but we have unlimited data, and I told her that once I get a job I’m gonna pay for it. But that being said, I don’t think it’s inappropriate to call my boyfriend who I’m in a long distance relationship with, a few times a week.

There’s a difference between being serious and being sarcastic, her tone was upset. I don’t know why she gets upset over something little like that. If he was closer I wouldn’t have to call him that long. And I only call him abouttt 1-3 hours a day, depending, usually only 1. And only like 2-3 days a week. So that honestly isn’t a lot. I think when she said “in a week” she was referring to an entire month cuz she gets reports of an entire months worth of activity on my phone, which is call and texts

Not to mention its New Year’s Eve and she’d rather spend it with her boyfriend than me, which not gonna lie hurts my feelings. Because we could all 3 spend it together but they are going somewhere. And she’s been being shitty to me all night. Also she’s triggering my depression and making me have a mental breakdown which she does all the time. Oh and whenever she treats me like shit she plays the victim after. Look guys, I don’t raise my voice at my mom unless she gives me a reason to. She made a big deal out of something little and I felt it was ridiculous
