For ladies who struggled to conceive because of PCOS how soon after your first did you start trying for a second? It took my husband and I almost 2 years to conceive our firs baby and it was agonizing. Every negative test was a blow to the heart. Our little one is 6 months old now and worth every second of the wait. My husband and I have begun the discussion of when we should start trying for number 2.

We don’t want to try too early, but at the same time we want a big family and do not want to have to go through the pain of waiting a long time to conceive again. It’s my understanding that when you have pcos you are more fertile within the first year after having a baby. Obviously this is something I am going to talk more in depth with my doctor about but I wanted to hear more from you ladies as well.
