So, I want to name my son Grayson. Fiancé and I agreed from the beginning that Sterling was cute as well, so it’s agreed as Grayson Sterling. Well since my fiancé goes by his middle name I guess he and his family are expecting my son to to do the same (I’m 21wks btw). I’ve asked him to refer to our son by his first name so his family can catch on and use it too, nope just blows me off and calls him Sterling. For Christmas we got robes with our names stitched in and they even had one for my son... it was adorable until I saw the name sterling etched in.😔 I feel like they are disregarding my baby’s name because my SO likes Sterling more and it’s his family. I told him that I won’t correct anyone until he is born and after that, I will make it clear his name is GRAYSON!! He says I’m being dramatic and that since we are having a boy, he should get to name him.. which I clearly disagree with. I’m carrying this baby and have to give birth to him so I should have some say in his name... idk maybe I’m just hormonal but it’s kind of hurting my feelings, his family has known since week 14 that I wanted to name him Grayson and they still blow it off😒
