New year Do’s and Don’t?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I woke up about to clean my home from last night party but when I look on Facebook I read a family members post saying “Nobody clean their homes today”. Then I decided to look online to see what I should and shouldn’t do. Some articles said we should because by cleaning the home it brings in the new year with good luck then another say we shouldn’t because it brings bad luck. So my question is what would y’all do?

My mom called me to say “Babcia (polish for grandma) always told me don’t sweep on New Years or you’ll sweep away the good luck” it’s probably bullshit but now every bad thing that happens to me this year I’m gonna be like “it’s cause of that damn broom..” 😂

I feel like someone really irritated with a family created this and someone really irritated with having to clean created these ideas. 😂 love it. I clean the house every couple days.

Cleaning had literally nothing to do with luck and luck isn’t real we either cause things to happen or not happen with our actions. You’re way overthinking this
