Possible mmc but still have symptoms?!

So last week I had my 8 week ultrasound and was told that the baby was measuring 10 days behind. Doctor said there is a very slight possibility that it’s okay but said more likely it’s a mmc. I have my follow up ultrasound tomorrow and I am so anxious and nervous even though I know it’s almost for sure a mmc. The thing is I still have my symptoms! This is so frustrating as I assume that it’s just because my body doesn’t recognize that the pregnancy is over. Anyone have any thoughts or advice?? Did anyone have a similar experience and the baby ended up okay and healthy??
