Woke up this morning and get told by my husband that he can’t take it anymore. Our relationship is toxic, but it’s him who is the problem. He’s been an alcoholic for a very long time and I’ve hung in there through it all because I love him, want him to get better, and mainly, fought for our family for our kids sake. The debts he’s acquired over the years has taken its toll and Sunday, we woke up to his truck missing. Turns out it got repossessed and while I’m trying to come up with a solution, he sits around feeling sorry for himself and takes it all out on me. I’m fed up too but he tells me first thing this morning that he wants a divorce and there’s no changing it. Shitty start to a new year but it is what it is.
