Due today

Im due today and at my appointment yesterday i was 1 cm dilated and only 20% effaced. My doctor did a membrane sweep and it hurt like hell all day. I lost bits of the mucus plug but no bloody show and now nothing today. Im starting to think ill be delivering this baby alone since my husband is shipping out for basic on the 7th. I feel defeated...
