My fiancé got home from work last night at 10. We watched our favorite movies and waited for the clock to strike midnight and kissed when it did. Around 1, he took a smoke break and I wasn’t feel well so I went to the bathroom. I pulled my pants down and saw blood. It was my period. We’d had our hopes up because my period was late and we’ve been TTC since April. We thought for sure this was going to be it for us but we were wrong. It was a sad way to ring in the New Year, but we are still staying positive and hoping for a baby announcement come Valentine’s Day!!
