Can I have well done steak?

Going to a family birthday dinner tonight. My grandad is grilling steaks. I’m normally a Medium rare girl, which I know is a no no. Am I safe if I get it well done? Thanks!!

As long as it’s purchased from a clean, reputable market, and it’s cooked in a safe manner you are okay to eat it how you enjoy it as long as it was cooked properly. (As in hands were washed, it didn’t touch any other raw meats, etc). You are more likely to get listeria/ bacteria from vegetables then meats! Trust your gut and do what you’d like, but you’re very likely going to be okay

Eating well done is okay. All the meat is properly cooked. I know. I'm a medium rare myself. I can't wait to have one again!
