Anyone child have the same problem?

My baby is 3 weeks old now and he has been having hard time pooping he will grunt for a whole day and won’t poop... unless helped sometimes. I’ve used little remedies gripe water and windi’s the windis have worked help him poop and relieve air but he won’t hardly poop on his own... his poop isn’t hard it’s mushy and yellow... is this normal?? Help first time mom and I can’t take him to doctor he hasn’t been accepted to insurance yet smh it’s pmo cause he missed his 2 week appointment already
