Update: took him to the doctor and luckily it’s just a small cold. 100% oxygen levels had no fluid in lungs. Got him a little humidifier and hopefully that clears it out. Thank you ladies!

Omg! That’s dr worthy sounds like Croup or could be whooping cough possibly RSV! Please take him in!

My mother-in-law said my husband always had a rough cough she said at 5 his coughs sounded like they do now and girl it always sounds like he is about to cough up a lung. So glad your little one is okay maybe he just has a deep cough. My little guys coughs always sound like is faking it .

My little girl coughs like that occasionally. Not enough for me to think she’s sick, like once a day. Usually when she’s swallowed milk too fast or the wrong way. Is your LO coughing like that all the time?
