Chance of cervical check/sweep?

Currently 39+2 and have had awful back ache and contractions 10-15 mins apart for almost 24 hours!

I have a midwife appointment today at 1430 - what are the chances of her checking if I’m dilated/doing a sweep if I ask her? Has anyone’s UK midwife done this for them?

I know I’m not 40 weeks until Sunday but I’m extremely uncomfortable and have walked around/bounced on ball/taken paracetamol and used a hot water bottle - none of which eased these pains but didn’t make them progress either.

Please help!
