Do they work are they reliable

I tracked ovulation with opk because my cycle wasn't regular. Otherwise I would have never known when I ovulated. Got a bfp after doing that for 3-4 cycles.

I used clinical gaurd and it made getting pregnant a lot easier.

I used clearblue as really easy to use and also tracked bbt which confirmed I had ov'd

me! had to switch from easy @home to pregmate before i got my BFP though. pregmate was the only one that actually showed a surge, even used the easy @ homes to see if they would get my positive when pregmate did and nope

I got pregnant the second month of trying but the first one using OPKs, probably a coincidence. 
However they help by confirming ovulation, making a difference if you have irregular periods or aren't sure which day of the cycle you ovulate (not everyone does this at 14 days before the next period). 
By the time you get your positive on an OPK, most of your fertile period is already over and you should DTD asap to make sure you're in time. If not, they will help you identify a pattern and know the exact day you OV for the next month(s) beforehand. But as I said, for people with irregular periods, it can make all the difference.
