Everyone loves the first name we decided on! Not that it mattered if they did or not, but it is a relief in a way. Small vent I suppose, probably long. Still related to the name subject so I'm guessing it goes here?

But my mother and one of the middle names (it's tradition for us to have two) is driving me nuts. I've told her many times how I will be doing it but she keeps shoving random crap in my face. Here is an idea so you get what I'm talking about:

Daughter 1 first name- my commonly used family middle name- husband's grandmother's first names combined- last name

Daughter 2 first name- husband's commonly used family middle name- my grandmother's first names combined- last name

So I've come up with a combination for daughter 2 second middle name and asked my mom about it (Mila) Mildred and Lola combined. She insists I do Franjean, a combination of their middle names. I politely said I preferred the first names. Now she's sending me weird crap like "Mold is a good combo, you should go with it." And then threw a FIT because I said absolutely not.

I'm still going to go with what I want to do. I guess I wished she would've been more helpful with ideas.
