My 13 month old just had a PT evaluation for not walking yet and the PT recommended ankle braces to give her some more stability and said kids typically wear them for a year. This seems a bit extreme to me and just wondering if anyone else had experience with this. I am going to call her pediatrician to follow up and ask more questions and may call the PT to ask further questions. It just seemed a bit abrupt and rushed at the appointment this morning and my baby was being fussy so I was kind of distracted.
