Flying with 5 month old?!!

Question

Any tips? I have to travel for a week for work and my husband has military training.. we don’t have any close family so the little one comes with me!
He is VERY easy-going and only fusses when hungry but I am worried about the ear-popping and the potential for him losing his shit in an enclosed space haha. 
This is my little giggle-monster!

Feed during take off and landing. Try to plan the flight during nap time if possible. Otherwise, the new people, sounds, and place may keep baby occupied. 
Check all your bags except a diaper bag (put all purse content in the diaper bag). And put baby in a carrier so you can be hands free. 
Honestly, flying with a baby at that age isn’t bad at all!

We flew with our daughter at 4months this past summer! I tried to feel during takeoff and landing but she ended up falling sleep before we took off and woke up after we landed..the flight out was amazing. 
The flight back however..she screamed the whole time no matter what I did. It was a 2hr flight but seemed like an eternity. Crossing my fingers for you!
