I recently got back on BC after my nightmare with Nexplanon. Nexplanon was removed about 2-3 years ago and I just started to regulate again, it was bad for me. I was nervous to get back on the pill because I got pregnant on it once before and miscarried right before my 2nd trimester. I told my doctor this so she put me on a higher dose than normal to avoid unintended pregnancy. The pill was my best option because my SO and I are in the midst of planning a family in the coming year or two, so I needed to bounce back quickly while still avoiding pregnancy while unprepared/in school.

Guys, my period this time around was SO EASY. It came with minimal pimples, minimal cramping, and light bleeding for my 4 days. My period was a freaking nightmare after Nexplanon. I’m honestly shocked and now I’m dreading the day I have to stop taking it since my periods are so easy now. I don’t remember any other BC I’ve used making that time that easy. I was afraid I’d bleed for longer or something bad was going to happen but it ended up being okay.

Only downside is: my period farts are 10x’s worse.
