Weird first period coming off of birth control

I have been on and off BC since 18 years old. I was on the Nuvaring since October 2017 until I removed it December 7, 2018. I had my "withdrawal bleed" Dec 10-14th. However I just got what looks like a period today. I don't get it? It's kinda early...is this normal coming off of birth control?
