I have had a completely normal, healthy pregnancy so far but today I had an appointment and when listening to baby girl’s heart, it was skipping beats (about every 5th to 10th beat but not a consistent pattern). I am 34+5 so really nearing the end. My dr sent me for an NST and the skipping beats continued the entire time. I’m being sent to a high-risk doctor to have an ultrasound of her heart early next week. Has anyone been through this or have any insight for me? My dr said it’s probably nothing to worry about and she will outgrow it, maybe before she’s even born, we just need to take the extra precaution and see the high risk doctor. I am holding it together pretty well because my doctor really didn’t seem that worried but it’s still impossible to not worry a bit. For all I know she was just playing it off as no big deal so I wouldn’t freak out before we knew more.

Also if they are doing an ultrasound of her heart does that mean it will be like a normal ultrasound and I will get to see my baby girl again and maybe get a weight estimate or anything in her? Just trying to think positive here 😂
