7 days late??

Hi ladies, I was supposed to start af on dec 26 and she still hasn’t shown up. I took a test today which appears negative. Could I be pregnant and it’s just not enough hcg? When I concieved with my son 3 years ago I had a negative and three days later got a bfp at 5 weeks pregnant.
