Higher chance of twins after miscarriage?

I miscarried in November at 8 weeks and I got pregnant again before a full cycle. Im six weeks now. The doctor said it was okay to try again right away because I had a complete miscarriage and my HcG dropped fast. I’m wishing for twins, but will gladly accept a single baby or anything God gives me. I’m praying so hard for at least one baby.  My first appointment is at 9 weeks (MLK day I have off from work.. I’m a middle school teacher). 
I read about multiples after miscarriages online and wanted to hear from your experiences.
