5 weeks late

My period is 5 weeks late today. I totally wrote off this cycle as I think I may have missed ovulation by a couple days. I tested the day my period was due and negative. Again I wrote off this cycle thinking it’s just my cycles being shit - again. Iv tested once a week every week since. This morning though there was the faintest line. I saw it straightaway, left the test to go see to my toddler came back 15 mins later and it was still there. But so faint. I don’t know if it’s a shadow or an evap. Surely it’s too soon to be an evap? The test is still wet. But surely I couldn’t JUST be getting a faint positive now at 5 weeks late??

There’s no way Iv ovulated late and only be a couple weeks because weve both been too busy or too sick over the holidays to do the deed!

What else could be causing my faint line??

I don’t want to get my hopes up because this seems impossible but the wait to test again in a few days is going to drive me crazy!!
