Cycle tracking after miscarriage

I recently had a miscarriage with first pregnancy. I thought I was 11 weeks, but ultrasound showed baby stopped growing at 6 weeks 3 days. Husband and I would like to start trying as soon as doctor gives us the go ahead. How do I start tracking my cycle again? Do I wait till first period to start ovulation testing or do I start at a certain point after miscarriage. I’m about a week from when I had miscarriage.
