Due date change? Is it possible after doing IVF?

I had a scare last night and went in to the ER. Fortunately, all is well and so is baby after an ultrasound check. The tech that performed the ultrasound said I was measuring 16 weeks...but based on my calculations I am 15 weeks towards the tail end of it. Is possible to have my EDD changed???

No. Your due date will not change no matter what after IVF. They know *exactly* how old that baby is. Variations in measurement by a few days either way are normal, especially that far along.

Also, since you're that far along dating by measurement isn't as accurate. That's why dating ultrasounds are done in the first trimester.

I did ivf. Baby measured 5 days bigger at 12 week scan and 10 days bigger at 20 week scan. My due date stayed the same as they know exactly when it was conceived.

My due date changed and we did IVF. It was only by 3 days but moved it from March to February.

Yeah even if you’re measuring ahead or behind they usually keep the same due date unless it’s off by like 5 or more days (and then only if you were dating it by last menstrual period - as someone else posted with IVF they are very sure how old your baby is). Glad you had good news after your scare!!
