Ahh the nostalgia
Sharing where I'm at - no question or anything, sorry 😅
Two years ago while getting ready for a New Year's party suddenly I went from getting dressed to moaning into the toilet. We were TTC and I was hopeful, so I immediately tested - and got a negative. It seemed to be just a stomach bug, but despite everything I still felt hopeful, and exactly one week later I repeated the test and got a BFP.
My daughter was born on the first of September, healthy and lovely. Considering the eventful pregnancy we had, our time together on the outside have been as close to ideal as I can imagine. Of course we have had our ups and downs, but overall she's so wonderful it's a bit scary.
I've been breastfeeding her for the past sixteen months, and despite having some spotting here and there, I only had one normal period - about two years after my previous last normal period.
We have been, well, not TTC but not preventing either for a couple of months now. My next period was due around New Year's Eve.
I know I can't expect anything, I might just simply be irregular right now, I might have periods without ovulation, or this just wasn't our month...
I still got caught up in this nostalgic mood, and I'm thinking that I'll do a test at the two years anniversary of my first BFP. I'm hoping again... 😊
