19 month old not talking?

Is it normal that my 19 month old son isnt talking yet? He was saying momma dadda bye and hi. And now all he says is bye and hi and thats rare. My daughter was saying atleast 15 words and talking non stop by this age.

Any update?! My son said things, went away, came back and he’s starting to gain some new words but isn’t using others as much. Very confusing!

Get him in speech, doesn't seem normal. We actually switched pediatricians because ours wasn't seeing anything wrong because she is super smart and understanding of things. When we switched the new doctor was surprised and referred her to speech right away. My daughter is 21 months and just started speech two months ago. She wasn't saying anything but mama, dada, and baba...not even referring to anything, just babbles. Her words are not super clear, but she's saying sooooo much more now. Not sure if it's a nation wide thing, but mine is in early steps. It's free until they turn three. And there isn't anything wrong with my daughter, mentally or with her hearing. She's super smart, just won't talk lol. Probably my fault because I stay home with her and know what her babbles mean 😆

Yeah I’d probably definitely bring this up to the doctor I heard by 18 months they should know at LEAST 10 words my son is 17 months and knows more than I can keep track of by now
