Non stress test??

Question

I got one today and he wasn’t super active during it but his heart rate went up like 3 times but also dipped down a few times. Doctor said it was okay but I’m nervous!

I have taken several of them now (my doctor does them routinely) and there is always tons of beeping, mostly because the heart rate goes over. I have been told it’s not a big problem if that happens because they look at the average over time. I usually start high because I arrive at the doctors office stressed and in a rush and the baby totally reflects that. Then we calm down together and by the end at least one of us tends to fall asleep. 😄 Last time I talked to him several times during the test and his heart rate slowed down every time. It was kind of amazing to see.
