Losing weight at 37 weeks?

I read that it could be a sign of labor coming. Had this happened to anyone? Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? I can't find any info on Google about it.

Went to my appointment today and lost weight as well. Not sure why after the holidays 😂

I’ve lost 8 pounds in the last week and a half. I’m 38+6

I lost like 3 pounds between 36-37 weeks. And then gained 2 between 37-38. I think it’s normal at this point.

I lost weight at 37 weeks just had my 38 week check lost more weight but still no sign of baby anytime soon.
