Should you discuss God on a first date?

For me I come from a devout Christian home and in the long run I need somebody who shares my views and don’t want to get attached to somebody and then find out later it won’t work. Person I’m going out on a date with comes from a catholic home so Ik he has grown up with learning about God but idk how important it is to him or what he truly believes.

I feel like you should just vibe with the person first. See what they like, see how the conversations are like, then you could maybe mention something about god and ask their views and then discuss how you feel. Personally, on a first date I wouldn’t want to be attacked with someones detailed view on their religion, but it would be nice to know they believe by stating something about God or whatnot. Also, don’t let Catholic boys deceive you, I made the mistake of looking for a good mans at a all boys Catholic High School and they in the end they were the ones who hurt me and treated me the worst. 
But , anyways this is just advise I would give to any friend. If the mans doesn’t take it well then I would try a religion based site like Christian mingle.
