Has anyone gotten a 3D/4D ultrasound done yet?

When is the best time to do it? Would you recommend it or is it a waste or money? Any info would be appreciated!!

Got mines today. I have anterior placenta so the pictures I got are better than expected 26 weeks 4 days

I believe I read the best time is around 28-32 weeks.

Mine is January 19. Our local place says 27-32 weeks if you are only doing it once

Did ours today I’m 27 weeks! I asked and they said 27-29 is usually the best time since baby still has lots of room

We had one to determine gender and she told us that 30 weeks is her favorite time to do scan to see the baby’s face :)

I was told the best “viewing” is week 27-30! We got a package deal and so I’m going @ 27 weeks and 30 😂 it’s so hard waiting to see her!

Have one scheduled for 28 weeks, went for an early gender scan at 17 weeks and that’s when she said was the best time to come back! I can’t wait to see baby again, especially since they had the monitor turned away for my anatomy scans!

It’s so worth it! I think I did mine around 29-30 weeks. They made a video of the baby and put the pics in a cute album.

I’ve looked up a ton of them and different weeks, and so I’m going to do mine when I’m 27 weeks and 4 days which is on the 12th, figuring it’ll kinda even out to 28 weeks anyways since my baby was 3 days ahead at her 20wk anatomy scan. It won’t be 3D/4D tho, it’ll be HD ‘’5’’, and at 27-30 weeks you can see a big difference! At 29-30 weeks a lot of babies are too big to get face and hands/elbows in the shots, but at 27-28 weeks you can. I’d definitely google image from weeks 27-30 in 3D/4D for you to figure out what week you think looks best for you.
