HOW?! IUI & school life?

I am in my last semester of school (done in April) - HOWEVER - I’m busy every single morning pretty much. I have clinical every MWF and just learned I have class TTh mornings 😩

I have no idea how its gonna work out for us to get our <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> done (next step if not <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>) - my clinic is an hour away & with my schedule how it’s been sometimes I go to the one 90 mins away.

Did anyone (maybe teachers) have to or are going through this? I can’t miss clinical at all - and class I can only miss so many.

All advice is welcome 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I’m stressing out that we won’t be able to do anything until May at this point and it’s already been 2 years 😭 we are ready for our little one!

Hmm...I do think it would hard to do a medicated IUI- for mine I go early in the cycle around day 3 for labs and US, then after the meds starting around day 10/12, every couple of days for lab/US until mature follicles, then trigger when they say and IUI 12-36h after (depending on their protocols). For a non medicated cycle there’s less monitoring and you can do opks at home to say when you’ll go in for IUI 
I would find out their earliest and latest appt times though to see if they have super early or evening hours! I hope so for you! I usually go at 6:45a for my monitoring

I had to be at the clinic at 8 am and the earliest flight..yes flight to the clinic was 715.  I would land at 730 and then need to cab it to the clinic for 815.  I was always late!  My classes didn't start til 430 pm though.  I did find out however my clinic actually opened at 7 and I could have been there as early as I liked.

Hey girl! I’m a lawyer who’s in court a LOT. I just told my boss outright what I’d be doing this year (privately) and told them it was my priority and said I might need some backup on short notice once or twice a month. It has to come first - they were understanding! I mean, is there anything more important? Sometimes I had to tell myself “what’s the worst case scenario?” (“Lose my job”) - well that didn’t even come close to happening, but even if it did it would have been worth it to have a baby. My bet, you will find understanding & assistance : but even without it, if you have to retake a class, or disappoint someone along the way, this year is about making a baby, all other things will fall into place down the road.

Definitly find the hours of your clinic. I am a teacher and have to be st work for 7:30. Doors open at 6 am and it is first come first serve, so I get there at 5:15 and usually the first one in line. Blood work starts at 6:15 and ultrAsounds usually 6:45 (technically 7.... but the doctor just starts when she gets there). 
I am usually out the door here at 7, on the road to work. 
I’ve only missed days for my actual egg retrieval (ivf),  but you may have to miss for iui if those appointments are later in the morning.
