Sex during Chlamydia Treatment!

So I took the pill for the chlamydia on Friday and then I had sex that Monday. I know the doctor said 7 days but I couldn’t help it and I did it with a condom. I think it’s back now but i’m not sure. Shouldn’t it have went away if I used protection?
