Feeling pretty down and dont know what to do

So a long long time ago my husband and i got tattoos of eachothers initials. I got his put into a heart and put it on my hip. He on the other hand has mine on his chest. Now the problem that i dont like and hate is now that i have 2 kids the stretch marks have overrun the tattoo. Dont get me wrong i love my tiger stripes ive earned them. I just have trouble loving the tattoo now i dont know whether to get it redone or leave it or get a new one put somewhere else (where it wont get demolished) my husband loves it but i on the other hand am having trouble with it. What do you guys think?
