We clicked our first night December 25th. It was all sweet and he was interesting. But we went our separate ways. Each having the others info. I was trying to stay a strong single woman, I had needed a break from men, and so I decided I'd let him come to me if he was interested. 4 days later he messaged me. I was a total b**** because I thought he was only coming for 1 thing. He sat it out though and once that happened we just clicked. Kept talking. We were like the bestest of friends almost immediately and I couldn't get enough of him. Soon we were skyping and I fell in love with his voice and his voice made me want to scream I love you so I told him in as many languages as I knew. Spanish, Japanese, French, Serbian, Croatian, American Sign Language. I couldn't not tell him. He always asked me what I was saying but I just told him he would find out eventually. It wasnt until I spoke it in French for the first time that he understood. He asked me out on January 13th. He stayed with me 2 weeks later when I had a major panic attack and meltdown in front of him. He stayed. He said he knew then he wanted me forever. I knew because my panic attacks stopped. The reason I needed a break from men was because every relationship of mine I felt panicked. Panicked that I would end up marrying the wrong person. I met him and day in and day out this man listened and helped and supported me, treated me like a treasure in his life. I've never felt more at home. I've never felt more loved and cared for. We got engaged 3 months into our relationship. It's been 5 years and I still feel so giddy and happy to be with him and I still need to scream I love you at him every time I catch him looking spectacularly handsome or doing something incredibly sweet. Or even as he sits there reading on his phone. I am consumed with my love for him.

Because I was very dependent on my mother as a source of love and understanding and compassion... she was always there for me and always trust worthy....
And when I met my now husband, i felt that safeness and love with him. I felt like I could go anywhere with him and I’d be home. ❤️

Because he showed me what love really is  I had thought I was in love in my past relationships but I was no where close. He is my protector, my safe haven, my best friend, the greatest lover ever. . . . . He's just my world I love him so much.

He was the first person I was able to tell about my father's affair 🤷🏼‍♀️ He comforted me as I cried over a different boy and gave me advice about it 🤣
