brown spotting

so yesterday i noticed that i was spotting brown blood. not enough to fill anything but enough was on my undies and when i wiped for me to ask this question. is it normal to spot brown blood 6-7 days before your period? my periods are always on time and this is the first time i have ever spotted brown blood a week before my period. kinda freaking out over here. not sure what to do. any advice? thanks ladies❤
