So, yes. The title is a little misleading. We both want kids except he doesn’t want them for 5-6 years!! I want them in like 1 maybe 3 years from now. We get married soon. I always imagine 1 year of marriage and then sometime there after we would have children. We have been together 3 years already. 4 years by the time we marry.

How have you ladies dealt with your SO having different ideas of WHEN big milestones take place in each other’s lives??

I always thought we were on the same page until recently. Even the length of time for us to get married was different. I wanted it way sooner than he did. Unfortunately, he was the one to have to ask me. So I had no choice but to wait 😂 but a child?? We will already be doing the baby dance.. I don’t see why not? Lol!

(Yes.. it takes two.. Duh! We’re both in our mid to late 20s. No need to point out obvious facts here. I’m wanting to hear someone else’s story that reflects my situation).
