I was t boned the day after Christmas, luckily everyone was okay. Especially lucky that it was just me driving to work and I had already dropped my baby off at her grandmas. But I’m curious. I know the seats themselves need to be replaced after an accident, but is the base okay if there was no car seat in it at the time of the accident? My daughters car seat was at my moms for when her dad picked her up. The bases aren’t expensive but I’m curious if they’re still good if there was no seat in it?
