Trying for the first time

We just started ttc and it' the first time that I have spotting just after ovulation ( my period started 20th of December and i have a regular period of 27 to 28 days, so the ovulation should've happened the first of January and i'm spotting since the 2nd of January=3days without any pain) does anyone has experienced something like that? Should i see my obg.
