Does bottle feeding really affect bond with baby?

Question

Hey guys so I recently had my baby girl and sadly breastfeeding didn’t work out for me. I felt extremely terrible and had to resort to formula which I really didn’t want to do. People keep telling me that I won’t have as close a bond with my baby or other terrible things about it. I just wanna know if any mommies can support or contradict this? It’s really bumming me out.

100% NO!! There’s no difference what so ever when it comes to bottle or breast, whoever thinks breast is best they need to jog on!

Absolutely not, my baby was premature and fed through a drip, then a feeding tube for a couple of weeks before I could even try to breastfeed. Unfortunately it didn't work out for us and we ended up bottle feeding. I have the best bond with my son even though a lot of preemie mum's struggle to bond

That's bullshit! I bottle fed my son and we have the tighest bond ever. He's 3 and is my little shadow!😄 we are glued to each other and understand each other. I don't believe in that, that breast feeding will create a better bond.

I’m currently pregnant with my first and so I don’t have personal experience. I do know that when I was a baby, about three days after taking me home, I had a severe reaction to my mom’s breast milk and almost died. I was then formula fed after that, no more breast milk. I am now a happy, healthy, 31 year old woman. I have a fabulous relationship with my mother. I have no developmental issues. (Lawyer, graduates number 4 in my class in law school, graduated high school at 16 and undergrad at 20).
Don’t listen to anyone else. You’re child will be fine so long as you love and take care of her. I’m so sick and tired of mom’s being shamed for breast feeding, being shamed for not breast feeding, being shamed for working, for not working. It’s just sickening. Do what’s best for you and your little girl.

I breastfeed my baby, it was really easy for both of us. And i don’t feel like it’s been a bonding experience I feel like it’s about necessity on my end as well as hers. She needs milk, I need her to take the milk out so I’m not in pain. 
My best bonding moment with my baby is bath time. Every night we have a bath together, we both relax and wash off the day, we cuddle and get a lot of skin to skin, she’s always in a great mood for bath time she loves it. It’s time that I carve out of everyday to be completely present with her and that for me has been a better way to bond than breastfeeding.

My niece was bottle fed and she loves her mommy and daddy and I have a strong bond with her too so it honestly helps them bond with other people too
