Telling parents?

Anyone telling their parents fairly early? We don’t plan on telling anyone else but its my mom’s birthday this weekend and they are coming to visit and live in a different state. I prob wont see them for a few months after this and not sure if I’ll be able to hold in not telling them. My mom has been begging for her first grandchild for a while ..

We have told both parents, his siblings (I’m an only child) and are telling my grandparents tomorrow. We want a good support network if something were to go wrong

I’m 4w6d with my first at 35yo. I really liked this article I found on here (link below), and I figure I can tell the people that I’d share a miscarriage with anyway, which is a handful of close friends, one coworker and my cousins. I’m gonna wait to tell my dad, because he’d be too sad of something happened.

We found out Saturday the 22nd and both of our families knew by Christmas Eve. I was kind of against telling everyone so soon in case anything happened, but my husband was sooo excited to tell family. It ended up being for the best because now if something does happen I know we will have the BEST support system behind us❤️

We will probably tell DH's parents after our first US on the 24th. I want to make sure everything is looking good before we say anything.

We live in a different state than our parents as well but we’re waiting. Luckily just after the start of the second tri I’m taking a trip with my brother, mom, and step dad so I’m telling them then in person. We’ll be telling everyone else with a card and phone calls. Probably just before that trip.
