Cracked nipple at two months?

I couldn’t tell you when the pain from breastfeeding went away I just realized when it came back. For the past couple of days my right nipple hurts so bad when she feeds. It got stuck on my bra today and is now bleeding. I’m dreading when she has to feed on this boob. Anyone else have this happen? Do y’all think a nipple shield will help??

Yes shield! I have started using lanolin because i was starting to crack and bleed. Used the shield for only one day and it helped a ton. Using lanolin after every single feed now to make sure I don’t get dry.

My midwife recommend silverette (coque en argent...I was totally lost in translation for a minute). I guess it is popular in Europe. You can find them on amazon. Just having a shell (cheaper concepts out there) could help air it out too. 
As soon as you can get rid of the nipple shield, do it. It can hurt supply sometimes. 
Lanolin cream. 
And ovaries of steel!!!!
Also, have you been pumping recently? Maybe you are rubbing up against your flange.

I got APNO prescribed by the midwife around week 4 for a milk blister, and I still use it because I still get them, as well as a deep crack in the nipple 😓 The ointment helps a lot.
