Hcg levels???

My first was 38 on 12/14 and yesterday it was 5797. Is that good? What are some signs of ectopic I’m just worried.

I had an ectopic. I had a 13 day "period" and for whatever reason decided to take a hpt and it was positive. I called my m.d. and the us showed an empty uterus. Mine was in a fallopian tube. I felt it early. At first it was just a little crampy soreness but was super painful when it ruptured. Other signs are fever and shoulder pain. Hopefully you will get your us soon and it will ease your worries. Your levels seem ok, honestly i think unless there is a glaring issue people read too much into them. Still, couldn't hurt to ask to have them done again next early week for peace of mind.

I had an ectopic in June and had absolutely no symptoms. The only tell was no baby in the uterus at 6 week ultrasound (which is too early for an u/s because babies can be too small to be seen and cause needless concern) and my hcg levels went from 1700 when I did my first blood test to only about 2000 a week later. If you're worried, have as many blood tests as your doc will let you have and then do your first u/s between week 7 and 8. That's how I'm handling this pregnancy and it's going so much better and I'm much less stressed thanks to frequent testing of my hcg levels. All the best xx
