When to tell family and close friends?

When are ya’ll planning on telling your most intimate circle? I’m not talking social media or employer. More your parents, siblings, best friends etc.? We’re planning on waiting till the 8 week scan but this secret is burning us up!!

One of my sisters in law and 2 of my closest friends already know. We will tell family after we see a heartbeat, maybe not immediately after the scan but soon after.

We told parents and siblings really early. We are waiting to tell friends after I go to the dr. At that point we will tell a select dew (like the 2 I am in weddings for this year 😂)

Well, right away my fiancé told his 3 closest friends, and his boss. I just told my mom today. Knowing it’s all early but hoping for the best! I’m 5 weeks today and go in for my first appointment on the 17th, and after the appointment we are going to tell my dad.  My pregnancy was unplanned, bust so wanted. so telling people has been the scary part!

I want to wait until at least after the 6 week appointment but I’ll probably wait a little longer. We’re taking a trip around 14 weeks with my mom, step dad, and brother so I will probably wait to tell them then. We don’t live in the same state as our family so planning and how to do it has been interesting.

We're going to surprise them with our 6 week ultrasound in a few weeks. 😊 I cannot hold it in much longer! Even though this is our 4th, we made everyone believe for a long time that we were done having kids. So I'm excited to see their reactions. Lol
