Tested positive, when should I schedule a dr appt?!

Help... when should I schedule my first appointment? Should I schedule one for a pregnancy test, or? I’m not really sure.

Call your Doctors office. They will ask when was the first day of your last period, then they will schedule an appointment based on that day! Congratulations!

Call your OB’s office. There staff will let you know the next steps. For example I called my OB Monday and they have you meet with an RN first. So I met with her yesterday , we went over what to expect over the next 35 weeks, how I am feeling, various appointments, tests etc. There was a lot of questions she asked me about my medical history etc, I also took a few blood tests and a urine test. I got paperwork with my EDD and which dates I start the various trimesters on etc along with a big book about pregnancy. She then set up my appointment with my OB, we will hear the baby’s heartbeat and they will do an ultrasound (abdominal). They set up this appointment for 8-10 weeks, I’m going in on 1/22! 
This is the same as with my daughter she is 21 months. I was able to see her wiggling around, and hear her heatbeating it was so amazing!! 💖

Schedule it for 8 weeks! My best advice do not get it any sooner and hold out on ultrasound until 12/13 weeks

Your doctors office will decide when your appointment should be. It’s usually 8-10 weeks but mine is at 6.
