So I’ve had some very light pink/red spotting today. I noticed it on the toilet paper after I wiped and it sent me into a panic. This is my first pregnancy and I’m 5 weeks 4 days so still so so early, and I’m just so scared something is going to go wrong. I called the nurse at my OBGYN and she said it may have been related to straining or it could be normal early pregnancy spotting, encouraged me to drink water and call if it gets worse. She said if anything bad was happening unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it now. My first appointment isn’t until the 22nd and it’s going to be a long 2 and a half weeks.
