How many chances do you give out?

BE HONEST, Have you ever gave someone more than one chance when they've messed up? 
(ex. your SO being unfaithful.)
I'm guilty of giving my boyfriend two chances already when he's messed up.. but the third time, I'm really done. and I often feel like it's wrong of me sometimes to, ya know? like I'm dumb in a way..

Specifically regarding cheating, no. You did not accidentally insert your penis into someone else's vagina. That was a choice. And, if you decided that sex in that moment was more important than your relationship with me, I have no further use for you.

Were adults, we know how wrong cheating/ lying etc is so there’s no excuse for it. Anyone who does those things is showing you they don’t respect you or the relationship and they don’t deserve chances

My now husband got a second chance. I wouldn’t normally give another chance, but I just couldn’t be apart from him. He fell for a romance scam just over a year and a half in to our relationship. It was a dark time for him, he missed where he grew up, wasn’t happy with where he was in life, and this scam was a “way out” he was lucky as he realised it wasn’t real when she asked him for money and kept coming up with excuses as to why she couldn’t get in the country or a flight. I found out the photos being used wheel of a Russian model who now sees herself as a celestial being, doesn’t eat or drink and gets what she can off the universe, anyway she doesn’t speak any English. He listened to me. And worked through his problems. He moved back to his hometown, and asked me six times before I said yes to agreeing to move in with him. Anyway, 7 years later, we’ve gone through my dad fighting and losing to cancer, my brother being a complete dick, his dad fighting and beating cancer, and a miscarriage, and we’ve got two fur babies. And I’d do it all again. Even though it strained my relationship with my parents when we got back together. Unbeknownst to me, my dad has been having affairs the whole time he was married to my mum. Which explains a lot of his behaviour after me and Paul (the hubby) split up and got back together.

I’m gave my ex one chance more chance after cheating on me when we were like 17. We were together almost 5 years (16-21). He was abusive in every way but physically. Luckily, he decided to join the coastguard so I took it as my way out. Met my husband 2 weeks later lol. Been together 8 years and will never let someone do or treat me how my ex did.
