Liver detox supplements cause vaginal bleeding?

I started taking a liver detox supplement to go along with my dry January reset. Today, I started bleeding heavily, heavier than I have ever bled. My period isn't due for 2 weeks, my periods are usually so light that I only need a thin panty liner that lasts through the day. I didn't think about the fact I just started taking the supplements two days ago and figured it was a chemical pregnancy. I've tried to google but didn't really find anything. I'm going to stop the supplements but thought I'd reach out on here. Thanks in advance for any information or tips. If bleeding continues, I plan on going to the doctor.
