panty liners didn’t work on the last day (first period)

I wore a panty liner today cause it’s the last day of my period and it leaked through my underwear, it was definitely lighter though i’d rate it a 4? should i wear a liner or a pad too tomorrow? my moms period lasted for 5 days so i’m assuming that will be the same for me.
