Do you think the word ghetto is offensive or racist?
I know someone who uses this word a lot. She refers to lower income or minority neighborhoods as the ghetto. Or she refers to low income people as ghetto. She's a teacher and works in a mostly black school and she calls the kids/parents as ghetto too. Do you think this is offensive or racism? She always says she's not racist but I personally think the word ghetto is racist.
